No I just mean maybe the Cayuga really is a connie, and to avoid the "there were only 12!" Arguements they cast one of the assumed connies (farragut) as a different class.

TOS S1 Tomorrow Is Yesterday is 6 to 7 years in SNW's future. There are 12 like the 1701 in the fleet in 2267. That doesn't mean there are just 12 like the 1701 in the fleet in 2259/60.

Four Constitution class ships were lost in one way or another during the three season run of TOS.

In general Starfleet in TOS and even until DS9 was seemingly pretty small. Of course the fleet scales with the plot

They were brave enough to reimagine the Farrgut as a new class of ship, so I'm kinda surprised they went with feaux-Connies at all.

I suspect they'd hoped to have the chance to redress the sets (or build a new virtual set for the open section instead of reusing the Enterprise cargo bay), but they didn't have the time/money, and needed an explanation for how the Peregrine looked like the Enterprise while still having a smaller crew and so on.

If there was information about the Cayuga's class in the display graphic, it was too small to read. Hopefully, we will get a chance to see it more clearly.

I know its Registry is NCC-1557.

NCC-1557... Well that would be a Sombra-ish Registry. FYI any FASA Fans out there that now supersedes the USS Rasalgethi NCC-1557 Durrett Class

I can't wait for clear shots of the CG to appear. I LOVE wrecked saucers. Spent ages counting the Kelvin-kitbash saucer decks over Vulcan back in the day when the Starship Size Arguments were at their peak

There’s was a clear shot of all of the decks in the ship’s saucer. I didn’t count though

Two decks across the full span including the edge. The core of the saucer appears to be Six or Seven decks not counting the bridge structure. There's a large amount of void spaces on the lower saucer area going towards the sensor/weapons locations which do not appear to be habitable

They're probably supposed to be rooms like Pikes ready room/conference room/etc..but yeah..they look similar

Hard to tell, but it looks like there are about 12 or 13 decks?

Counting the Bridge and lower sensor dome room.

They're probably supposed to be rooms like Pikes ready room/conference room/etc..but yeah..they look similar
