nope, I think it should have looked like “The Cage” version of the Enterprise from the second it showed up at the end of Discovery S1.
As they said, "any Dick will do".I like the second Darin much better.
Something I heard (and thought of) many times at 4am when the bars I hung out in were closing. As they said, "any Dick will do".
The dude just won gold https://www.telecomasia.net/blog/tom-hardy-wins-two-golds-at-a-jiu-jitsu-tournament/And Tom Hardy vs. that other guy as young Picard. I couldn't really tell the difference because of the hair...![]()
That's nice. Wrong forum and topic.
Who cares? In those first three examples, did the original actors go back to playing the part after the second actor took over the role? Because we still see the TOS Enterprise in other Trek series after DSC/SNW changed it.
So explain why we still see the TOS Enterprise/TOS Constitution class exterior in PRO, LDS and PIC, and the interior in Short Treks, all of which have been produced in the last few years.
Who cares?
And I’m pretty sure the average person on the street thinks TOS Enterprise when they hear ‘Enterprise.’ Maybe the Enterprise-D, but the TOS Enterprise still beats it by a long shot in the public consciousness. They certainly don’t think of the Discoprise.

I once asked my then-not-Trekkie fiance whether she preferred the Enterprise-D or the Excelsior class after we saw a TNG episode where Riker's old ship, the Hood, appeared.
She looked at me and said, "What's the difference?"
Poe's looks better. I definitely think Poe's. I cannot stand Luke's.More like - when you hear "X-Wing":
Do you think about Luke Skywalker's iconic ship? Or about Poe Dameron's sequel variant?
Most people probably don't see a big difference. But for those that do - it's clearly the original.
