Spoilers The Mandalorian | Disney+ | Streaming Nov. 12

Aging up doesn't seem to be much of an option for any future seasons of The Mandalorian. If The Child is already 50 years old, then even 5 years later he'd pretty much look the same. You'd have to talk about decades later if you'd want him to actually look different.

That said, a new outfit, or even a new little floating pod, is always a possibility. Lucasfilm is well aware that different outfits will generate more income.

Yeah, I realized after my post that if he's still a baby after 50 years, he's probably not going to age much in the amount of time we'd jump between seasons.

50 years is still a lot when measured against the presumably long 900 years Yoda lived.
Out of those 900, Yoda trained Jedi for 600 years.
For the sake of simplicity that’s equivalent to a human living to 90 and teaching for 60 years.
So, making his lifespan a factor of 10 greater than human’s.
Baby Yoda would than be 5-ish years old.
I’d say with that relative age he seems not old enough yet.
But who knows, maybe he spent the first 30 years in a larvae state or something.
Anyway. That would leave about 250 years, to grow up into adolescence, complete Jedi Training and and become at least a senior Jedi Knight.
While that is a lot by Human standards and most certainly enough to gain the necessary experience, it is just 5 times the amount of his development so far.
Would that mean, Yoda was a Jedi Master at the equivalent of a 6 year old?

I'm not sure there's much call to assume a "Yoda" ages in the same increments as we do. They may move from infant to adolescent at relatively lightning speed compared to how long they spend as an infant.

And there you go,
Suffice it to say, that's a huge spoiler, but I have a feeling it'll be common knowledge soon enough. But just in case, for now I'm hiding it behind spoiler tags.

Seems like something that'll be impossible to miss on news headlines though.

If this was coming from almost anyone but The Hollywood Reporter, I'd call bullshit, but they're one of the most respected Hollywood news sources, so they're not ones to just post any old rumor they hear.

Hollywood Reporter leaps to the entirely logical and understandable conclusion that Temmura Morrison would be playing Boba Fett. However, thinking outside the box, who else would you get to play... Commander Rex?

Rex has the advantage over Boba Fett of actually being an interesting character.

yep, certainly a possibility,
especially if Ahsoka shows up

that said, the setup at the end of the Fennec Shand episode certainly set things up for Boba himself

the logical answer: why not both
