Hopefully, provided it, too, doesn't postpone its season run like others seem to be doing now.
I don't think they used an orchestra. It's one dude who plays everything. Not as much as one might think, thanks to the way they shoot against LCD screens rater than green screen. Aside from the obvious benefits of not having to do as much rotoscoping and matte tracking, it also means a fair amount of the work traditionally reserved for post is actually done in prep (mostly asset creation and the like.)
Like with a lot of wrapped productions though, the stumbling block is likely to be in scoring the thing. If they can manage it without an orchestra; great. If not then it'll have to wait.

Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is an 8-episode docu/behind-the-scenes series about the first season of The Mandalorian.
I was hoping for a behind the scenes show for this, but I never dreamed we'd get 8 episodes! (Of course, they may be super short. We'll have to see.) Either way, it's great news.
First episode drops on May the 4th, with the next seven showing up on the following seven Fridays.
I hope there will be at least one interview with Baby Yoda.![]()
Filming finished around March 6th.Were they able to get the whole season done before everything shut down?
The only thing I would hold off on is any pictures or trailers with her, that way her appearance on the show can still be a surprise.
They did.The funniest part of the fake trailer has to be all the whiny, raging Star Wars fans losing their minds over it and acting like IGN committed a war crime.
