And for all those "poor Abdin..." folks - remember his OTHER promos for this game that liberally steal from Dino DeLaurentis production of DUNE; Stargate SG-1, and hell Star Trek TOS...yeah, "poor Abdin..." my a$$.

Well, that will certainly get some undeserved "RAGE" from more than a few folks.
(especially the ones using this situation for their own benefit)

Just as a data point: On a project I did some work on the entertainment lawyer employed to negotiate the contract had a minimum rate of $650 an hour. But he was a good lawyer and worth the money.
The Ketwolski video gets good at 4:20. The best part was that Anas Abdin made or at least advertised a game based on the TV series Dexter owned by CBS without their agreement.
If it wouldn't be bad publicity for CBS to go after much weaker opponents, they could sue him and win.

i did feel bad for him. After this latest tirade and trying to defend himself using other ip while suing cbs I don’t feel bad for him anymore. He dug his own hole.
It looks like graphic adventure games I played back in the early 90s. There were always parodies hidden in the background like that.
Me too and if I was just looking at his game and saw references to dune, star trek, space quest, etc I'd likely think nothing of it since it was a small indie game
However, when he decides to sue somebody else for copyright infringement and then also wants to claim all his references to other IP are fine, I have an issue with that. His references are much more blatent then anything he is claiming. "Monolith Burger" is space quest. No question about that. "space travelling tardigrade" is more generic.
My issue is him claiming copyright infringement when he is also infringing on copyright in his own game. If he wasn't filing this lawsuit, I wouldn't care at all about his "homages" or "cameos". but when seen in light of his own lawsuit is not a good look.

No, he's pretty much adapted the Discovery Hate Mantra, even to the point of calling folks who point out the flaws in his case "CBSTROLL" in his blogs.
Kinda sad.
