I genuinely hope this isn't the last we'll ever see of Paul Wesley as Kirk. He really grew into the role and is a far better representation of Jim Kirk than Chris Pine ever was.

Looks like they ditched the EV suit design from DSC Season 2 they had been using.

Looking at that picture made me think the final scene of the series is going to be one of those TOS endings where everyone is on the bridge and they all laugh boisterously as we cut to an exterior shot of the ship flying off and then fade to black.

Actually, you know what, if that isn't the final scene of the series, expect an angry YouTube rant from me in which I talk about how my life has not been ruined and Star Trek will never be the same again along side insinuations that Kurtzman did things... ;)

iirc it was confirmed the show would end with Kirk taking command.

That's what I was thinking. McCoy - canonically assigned in some capacity to Capella IV before Season 1 of TOS - will probably be a one-time appearance in that season, and maybe not even until near the very end or in the series finale.

I've never watched the Expanse but Thomas Jane played Miller in it.

I know him from the 2004 Punisher film lmao

This show is Kai Murakami's television debut. He's a stage actor who trained in London and Japan.

Deadline said:
Both will appear in the final episode of Season 5, which brings the series to a close.

An internet hype cycle begins, for probably 40 minutes of combined screen time, and no more:lol:

And that's everyone ...

The article says both will appear in the series finale.

Not sure if they mean they only in the series finale, or will appear in other episodes in Season 5 as well.

And that's everyone ...
Why the eyeroll?
