I genuinely hope this isn't the last we'll ever see of Paul Wesley as Kirk. He really grew into the role and is a far better representation of Jim Kirk than Chris Pine ever was.

Actually, you know what, if that isn't the final scene of the series, expect an angry YouTube rant from me in which I talk about how my life has not been ruined and Star Trek will never be the same again along side insinuations that Kurtzman did things...

Classic Star Trek characters Bones and Sulu will be making an appearance in the final season of Strange New Worlds, which recently wrapped production.
That's what I was thinking. McCoy - canonically assigned in some capacity to Capella IV before Season 1 of TOS - will probably be a one-time appearance in that season, and maybe not even until near the very end or in the series finale.
If they do make a Year One series, Chekov should be to Kirk what Kirk was to Pike: his own "why are you always on my ship?" frequent visitor.
They've been very restrained so far, not having a tweenager save the ship at navigation for the 3 years we've been watching!
