Kirk was said to have been a lieutenant fresh out of the academy during his first encounter with the cloud creature in Obsession, and when we meet him in Strange New Worlds he's about to become first officer of the Farragut.

Yet no mention of half the crew of Farragut dying by SNW Kirk at all in S2 or S3. That's why I was sketchy on the timeline.

No, that the accident that scars him. It takes place on a J class ship during TOS Season One.

He didn't talk about it through all of season 1 of TOS. And never mentioned it again after season 2.

NOBODY in Star Trek will even TALK about Kodos the Executioner.

You know that one year where the Federation lost multiple PLANETS within weeks of each other? Never mentioned. Not even by Wilard Decker.

Thankfully, I've already got everything I need from Paramount on disc, so I refuse to give the Ellisons more of my money. I finally dumped P+ after SNW's third season finished.

Yeah, I dumped my P+ after season 3 due to the whole Stephen Colbert thing. I'll be watching Academy at a friend's house. My friend actually works for CBS so he gets Paramount Plus free.

I still have P+ but Trek is 99.9% of my reason for using it. Without new or recent Trek series being streamed I'd find it hard to justify the trouble when the six Legacy series and first thirteen movies are accessible elsewhere, on disc or another website.
