Aaron Eckhart is about the right age and look. Most importantly, he has done television is recent years. He's a recognizable face, but also isn't a huge A-list star, so you could probably get him for a decent price.

I think Aaron Eckhart would be more appropriate as a relative of Archer. He does kind of resemble Scott Bakula. Not enough to be a doppelganger, but close enough to believe they could be related.

Other than Roger Korby we haven't heard of any legacy characters. Although IIRC they actually kept Scott's intro secret.

I watched Lost in Translation last night and it made me wonder if we would ever meet George Kirk Sr. And if they might pull some fun stunt casting. I'm assuming Hemsworth or Pine would be too expensive. And neither is quite old enough. Who would be a good "Hey it's THAT GUY!" casting for Daddy Kirk?

If we don't see Korby's friend and fellow scientist in Doctor Brown it will be a great insult to canon!

Night on deck 8 these days was dark and cold... and damp. It was raining on this deck; the kind of rain that made this Captain wonder why the hell his Chief Engineer still had a job. The kind of rain he hoped could wash the world clean. Clean of that same damnable Chief Engineer who still hadn't fixed the problem after the last four years of the five-year-mission.
