you do know that is a meme template right?
I do. Obviously I wasn't being subtle, just using the pictures to effectively convey the general idea. I don't think Spock actually looks like the 2nd picture either of course.you do know that is a meme template right?
Everything we've seen in Amok Time regarding T'Pring, including purposefully trying to get people killed, would indicate that she is. Admittedly SNW T'Pring seems to be a different character, but in the end she ultimately becomes TOS T'Pring so...anyway T'Pring isn't that shallow.
I find the thin guy cuter than the ugly neanderthalBecause I guess I find it reflective of experiences I've had in real life and it makes sense that T'Pring would dump Spock for a Stonn who looks like what I posted.
No, she's not. In Amok Time she makes it clear that she chose Stonn both because of his close proximity to her as well as the fact that Spock had "become a legend." We see in Episode 1 of SNW that Spock is already torn between his duty to his betrothed and duty to Starfleet. This isn't just a matter of physical attraction but also that Stonn was readily available and meeting a need that Spock logically was not meeting.anyway T'Pring isn't that shallow.
TOS is just a dramatization of Kirk's logs.or maybe SNW is overwriting TOS.
just my opinion.
I gotta argue your interpretation again. Her decisions were not shallow. Not made merely because she wanted to be with a guy who's no more or less aesthetically pleasing than the guy she's engaged to. Even she pointed out she could have married Spock and still had her bit on the side. It was much deeper than that. And I'm super excited to find out how we go from where they started in SNW, to her trying to get to know his human side better, to her willing to risk her career and honor to save him, all the way to Amok Time and her ruthless logic, choosing the challenge and her unexpected champion. I mean, it's so juicy!Everything we've seen in Amok Time regarding T'Pring, including purposefully trying to get people killed, would indicate that she is. Admittedly SNW T'Pring seems to be a different character, but in the end she ultimately becomes TOS T'Pring so...
Not sure you get Spock. T'Pring, Stonn, Amok Time, Star Trek, Vulcans, humans...well, the list goes on.They say a picture is worth a thousand words so I'll let pictures convey what I think SNW should've gone for in regards to Stonn vs Spock.

T'Pring. Though the idea of T'Pau /Stonn is intriguing.Don't know where the assumption that T'Pau chased Stonn for any reason is coming from. It was clear from the beginning that he was a compliant junior partner. She chose him because he was more tractable than Spock.
