Kyle eventually gets so bored he adopts a convincing British accent.

Ortegas would strike me as a gamer. Chapel too, considering she has a bit of a nerdy personality (I say that with a lot of respect).

Just watched Memento Mori and did the writers have the inspiration of Apollo 13 with this episode? I saw a lot of similarities, and if they were looking for a guy to play Gene Krantz I think Mount would be great for the role. His Finest Hour speech was great.

I assume he's speaking of characters and relationships and such (the stuff that really matters). But still. Hmm... interesting
    * Oh I'm a bit behind, this was already discussed in the starship thread.

It saddens me that he thinks so.

Those are talking points. The number of TV series whose final episodes actually delivered what the producers led viewers to expect is a very short one.

Well I'm trying to link, but the forum keeps embedding the playlist as a video

    Sadly, not in 4k.

Yeah, I tried that too, didn't work for me either.

Also thought about posting each episode in the appropriate thread, but I'm not quite awake enough yet to accomplish that..

They will probably only be up for a couple of days anyway.

As I continue on this rewatch, I don't remember much of the final 5 episodes of the season, but I'm starting to wonder if they did T'Pring dirty this season. I know there is something with Spock and Chapel coming up but I actually like T'Pring and I hope she is back for Season 2. It was a shame it was Spock who decked that vulcan guy because T'Pring throws a good punch. That Spock Amok episode was actually good in a fun kind of way.

I'm not sure why they cast whoever they did for Stonn in SNW. From my point of view, they should've cast some massively overmuscled hunk that one look from the audience shows there's no way Spock can compete, someone like Joe Manganiello or if he's out of Trek's paygrade, Tyler Hoechlin or Jensen Ackles. Someone who with one glance you can see Spock has no chance against.

I think it'd fit the story better and it's not really inconsistent with TOS (worst case scenario just say Stonn slacked off on the bodybuilding in the decade between SNW and TOS)

I don't think Vulcans care about that.

Stonn is not exactly muscle bound so that would be an odd detail.
