TFF certainly has some fine character moments, and Sybok is actually an interesting character. Nemesis, it kind of depends on the mindset I'm in when I watch it what I end up thinking of it. Sometimes I absolutely love it, other times the flaws practically jump out of the screen and assault me.
I always found that TFF probably best exemplified the friendship that existed between the big three more than any other TOS film since the show’s original run. And yeah, Sybok was a very interesting character with lots of untapped potential. Very glad to see SNW exploring that in the future.
NEM…. It had (I believe) the longest space battle in Trek movie history. Others may know precise numbers; it just seemed like it was the longest and probably most intense. The rest of it? I can take it or leave it. I found Shinzon’s/Viceroy’s mind-rapey thing with Troi a bit much.

Same here. I enjoyed NEM quite a bit and TFF has some amazing character work. So, yeah, popularity can go suck an egg.I'm the guy who liked TFF and NEM...so clearly I'm not impacted by numbers or popularity.

And I get a big kick out of Rocky V. What matters and should is what a series or movie does for a person. Screw the internal numbers.
