The FX industry is pretty small, and people talk. Why would Drexler lie?

been watching some TOS while I work today. Two quick things…

I wonder if they are gonna give Pike a Yeoman. Male or female but one that acts like his assistant bringing him coffee, reports to sign, etc… the fact we never saw one on Discovery pre time jump makes me think we won’t.

I also hope we see Pike have to deal with arrogant High Commissioners, Ambassadors, etc… than can order him around, take command or whatever. They are annoying obstacle but its fun when they get theirs.

I hope so. It's still an active rate in the current US Navy. But, yeah, Discovery made that questionable. But, it would be interesting to see that going forward.

She's not named in dialogue. In either Strange New Worlds or The Cage.

Until she's called Yeoman Colt in dialogue I'm assuming she's just an alien crewmember with spikes on her face. The idea that regular human Yeoman Colt suddenly becomes a spiky-faced alien just because is silly even for CBS Trek rebranding and visual retconning standards but hey, I could be wrong. We've seen worse from the producers.
