MA has Kirk assuming command in 2265 and presumedly Pike stepping down.
MA also places WNMHGB in 2265 and at the start of the five year mission. Which presumes Kirk is new the the Enterprise in 2265. Which, to me seems unlikely. I think WNMHGB takes place before the five year mission and Kirk has been in command for a year or more. Which might explain Dehner's line about Spock serving with Mitchell for years. Spock and Mitchell have been a part of Kirk's crew for a while.
I think if Anson really wants out he gets promoted to "Fleet Captain" in 2260, and Commander Kirk takes command of the Enterprise at the same time. This setup goes on until 2265 when Kirk is promoted to Captain and his famous 5 year mission begins. Spock's line of serving "Eleven years, four months, five days" with Pike is just him being overly literal as Pike on paper was still captain.
Fleet Captain Pike will then just be a talking head on the screen giving Commander Kirk orders every once in a while, and Anson can film that from the comfort of wherever he likes.

ENT could have spent a couple years in space dock getting repairs and upgrades before going out on a new long-term mission.
I think Voyager mentions that Kirk's five-year mission ending in 2270, so I'm going with the 2265 start for Kirk, as far as the five-year mission. It's possible that Kirk assumes command of Enterprise, but is given a few individual assignments before a five year assignment.
I'm thinking Pike gets promoted either at the end of Season 1 or start of Season 2 to Fleet Captain, shortly after which whatever happens has Kirk meeting and working with Pike and Enterprise on something. If SNW is documenting Pike's second five-year mission, starting in 2259, then he returns home with the ship in 2264-65, Enterprise gets a routine refit/repair to be ready for Kirk.
In that time, Kirk is in command of a smaller ship for a few years, and I wonder if the event hinted at to be near the end of Season 1 is something like the Farragut Disaster, and a mention of a distress signal being sent on subspace by Lieutenant Kirk?
