I actually liked the Kelvin Timeline uniform caps because they looked like a nod to "The Cage(TOS)." I still don't have a problem with them.

Captain Sulu for sure, in my opinion. Or a whole new ship with Admiral Kirk taking on the Pike mentor role.Everything about the Kelvinverse was cool and fun. We should see more Trek shows in that setting. I still stand behind my idea for a Captain Uhura and Maybe Captain Sulu movie or show from that setting. Also a story about Kirk's dad if you can get Chris Hemsworth.
Please let the ST:SNW uniforms be symmetrical, I REALLy didn't like the Assymetric collars and zipper lines. They're selling the Enterprise costumes from Disco S2, suggesting that SNW uniforms will look different!

People were actually wearing the hats, how did he miss that they’re supposed to be desk decorations. It's because Abrams is a clueless hedonistic hack who didn't understand the proper way to use the hats. Just look at all the scenes in his movies with hats. Despicable. I have spoken. So say we all.
I don't mind asymmetry in uniforms (See TNG, Monster Maroons, among others). But, a collar like that stands out to me because it just looks uncomfortable. It might not be. It might be the most comfortable thing in the world. But, it looks odd and so stands out to me.I'm gonna start my own little asymmetrical collar fan club. I love it when Starfleet uniforms are asymmetrical, and that's been the case throughout Discovery.
The collar tab is the stupidest Trek uniform decision in ages. I really don't know what they were thinking. "But it's different" isn't a valid argument.
