New Trek: worth the wait.

Combine that with the casting sheets and I think we have our new Uhura and Dr. M'Benga!!
Ok, now I'm excited. Mount's excitement is palpable in that clip.
This has a good feel to it...I'm pumped.
That would be a cool addition.
Even more excited after seeing the cast reveal video and Mounts infectous enegery.
Hopefully we'll get single story episodes or multi arcs like on ENT season 4 but hopefully no seasonal arc like DSC/PIC.
Looking forward to a colorful (crew/cast and uniforms) and less "dark/grey for grittiness sake" tv show.

Christina Chong is doing a double-Vulcan hand salute in the announcement video. Therefore, I declare that she must be playing a Vulcan.
In fact, here's the casting news again from The Illuminerdi. Illuminerdi recently made news for being called out by James Gunn as a fake website, and I lend credence to that idea, but the casting sheet matches the announced actors so succinctly:
Olusanmoku = M'Benga / "Biodun" in casting sheet
Gooding = black, early 20s = Uhura / "Yeboah" in casting sheet
Chong = East Indian, Asian, or Middle Eastern or any ethnicity, late 20s-early 30s = "La'an"
Bush = Caucasian, late 20s-early 30s = Chapel / "Nurse Miller" in casting sheet
Navia = Latina, late 20s = "Ortegas"
It's interesting if true. The ages seem to line up as well.
