Spoilers Strange New Worlds General Discussion Thread

I wonder how'll the writer's strike affect the next seasons. THey're technically being written right now right? With the current seasons being already finished?
Production of the third season is currently on pause until after the strike is resolved. The show has not yet been renewed for a fourth season and no work will be done on it until if and when a renewal does happen.

... first off, SNW return to a classic episodic format would make the spiritual entity of Roddenberry proud.

With that, the [original] Enterprise sans Kirk and cue Pike is set 2258/59. And ST:LD is circa 2380.

Analysis? Admiral? Anyone?

Time travel. So what?

wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff.
Nah - my vote is for a meddling Cosmic Koala... ;)

Well, they used an episodic format last year, so I'm not sure why you're framing this as a new development?

I think it's pretty obvious that time travel will be involved.

"YOU take it! The police are heading this way!!!"

"No, Kirk, YOU keep it! NEITHER OF US HAVE POCKETS!!!"

... yep, aside from nitpicking, I was referring to the SNW series in general.

I started my rewatch of Strange New Worlds Season 1 last night with the first episode. I think my opinion on it is the same as originally, which was it was good but I think it could be better. I forgot where they left off with Spock and T'Pring's relationship but they were going to be married soon. That makes the awkwardness of Spock and Chapel a little odd, but I'll be reminded about how that whole thing went down.

This theme sequence is still pretty incredible. I don't know which one I like more, this or Prodigy. I think this one mainly because of the live action aspect. Doesn't take anything away from Prodigy though.
