There is where the problems come in, the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were likely far more humane than the fire bombings we did all through the war in both Europe and Japan. We mostly burned Japan to the ground.
Yes. That's why I don't believe anyone who says, "Oh, the Japanese were ready to surrender before the two bombs were dropping..."

Overall the foreboding was overall MORE deadly and destructive to the Japanese infrastructure and population, but no, even after that, the Japanese refused to surrender.

The surrender terms the Japanese wanted were more like those of a Victor. Also, while yes, they wanted to do more negotiating - after the end of the war in Europe, they thought they could get Stalin and Russia involved as an intermediary (and thought Russia might even support their terms); and they were shocked when Russia invaded and attacked Japanese held Manchuria as they didn't expect Russia to join the war in the Pacific.

Who knows how fast 23rd century tech works in these matters? Besides, as mentioned before editing can be misleading sometimes.

As for how they had their DNA on file... I have no idea.
They didn't. They had genetic coding techniques that could temporarily simulate Kileyite appearance, based, presumably, on close observation. Later, Chapel says she'll need "real Kiley DNA" to fix Spock's problem, which is when they start testing their "guests."

Yeah but given that Una was handling First Contact and got captured I wonder how they got any of that data. At best from the Archer's computer?

One could surmise that Una sent all relevant data already collected by the ships sensors back to Star Fleet before beaming down.
(just like Captain Esteban ordered his comm. officer to do before the USS Grissom got blown up)

One could also presume that once the Enterprise got to the planet, they scanned the USS Archer's files for same.

They had upgraded/better sensors than the USS Archer(Sock mentioned they did) and obviously did their own scans to find out the social situation that Spock briefed La'an and Pike on before they went to Sickbay.

I love how Prime Pike and Kelvin Pike interrupt one of his officers from getting lucky. (In STID, Pike cock block Kirk from hitting on a girl in a bar and in SNW, Pike interrupted Spock just as he and T'Pring were getting their groove on.)

Kelvin Timeline Sam Kirk:
