That shirt is older than him lmao
Wikipedia and M-A don't have his age listed, but I found an interview saying he's 26

Genesis would be to obvious IMO. Seems to me the more interesting thing to do is have a character find a new purpose than the one they had when joining. She wants to be Captain. She becomes Captain. Doesn't seem all that interesting of a arc. Also one of them needs to be killed. The message needs to be made that exploring space is dangerous and people will die. In fact I people die a lot in Starfleet. That is one of the prices that come with the job. It's not just about having fun and meeting cool aliens. It comes with danger and responsibility and also your ethics will be challenged at points and even broken.
Had to put on my readers to look at the shirt.I was 22 when that shirt was made.
My knees.
He looks 30.

Yeah. That would be more interesting. Just her complaining she needs to be captain because of her family abd ends up as captain would be boring. But its obvious at this point thats where they are going with it. But the show will never reach far enough to show these cadets getting their careers anyway.
You should know that in the actual episode that line from the trailer about needing to be captain in actual context just meant captain of the sports team. Just watching trailers can give you a false impression because of how they're edited.Just her complaining she needs to be captain because of her family abd ends up as captain would be boring. Marketing is such a lying racket. Truly something I find despicable. You should know that in the actual episode that line from the trailer about needing to be captain in actual context just meant captain of the sports team. It's not your fault.Had to put on my readers to look at the shirt.
An extremely relatable story to this day.I’m going to guess that maybe part of Genesis’ arc involves learning that doing what one loves to do is more important than what family expectations are.
I was 8...I was 22 when that shirt was made.

For me, its not, she thinks she's got a clean run to the centre seat, but she's going to end up being humbled, and/or realising that's not where her destiny lies. If anything, she might be the one most likely to end up with the contemporary Fenris Rangers or defect to the Venari Ral.

It would have been the day after my 5th birthdayI was 8...
I don't think we know what she loves to do at this point. We only know what is expected from her. A easy way to go would to say she would want to be a artist of some kind. Which I guess would sort of be Jake's arc a little on DS9. Instead of following his dad into Starfleet he choose to become a writer.
Have really enjoyed the first three episodes so far. We can assume Daniels was correct when he said the Klingons joined the Federation by the 31st century. However, and I know they are just rebuilding the Federation - it would be great if they could give some hints of the galactic powers and their status in this century. All is fuzzy.
If they bring the Breen back I hope they ignore what was did to them on Discovery. It seems those Breen also joined up with the Discovery Klingons and Remans to go out into the unknown part of space, forever to never return. They also too all of humans civilian clothes with them also, which is why they now have to wear old looking stuff from the present day.
