It's the bowling alley we want to see.Once again TAS had a "Re-creation" deck.
That's just fine.Yeah that's the big downside of doing a prequel - you CANNOT do any of the popular stuff that's canonically encountered only later for the first time in-universe:
No Borg, no holodecks, no Romulans, no Q, no Ferengi, no cloaking devices, no androids, no group-beaming, no Section 31, no Gorn, no Mirror Universe
Naturally, I expect all of these things to pop up.
With only the flimsiest of excuses.
Well the episodes are strangeI do hope for some 'strange new worlds' for the remaining six episodes this season
That was fun.
Michelle's been waiting for La'An and Spock to get together since the first Gorn episode. So, she feels vindicated.
I'll give it a ten.
Nope.if fans can keep previous canon straight in their heads without even watching episodes
Pike can't say "recreation?" It's a new word for him? "Reee-creation?"
5 seasons seems to enough for these streaming shows.I wondered why they were canceling this show years in advance.
Now I don't wonder anymore.
Which makes sense. Especially since Enterprise demonstrated use of the holodeck long before.Since ENTERPRISE, I attribute any canon shenanigans to the Temporal Cold War.
So what? And IMO was laughing AT it and not along with it. And that's my major take and complaint regarding the episode.
La'an is definitely dying now.
It's the same timeline. So Spock is dating Khan's descendant, but doesn't know much about him in TOS? Even MORE proof that we are in a rewritten, post TOS timeline...
He can say what he want's, but that doesn't mean it's accurate since we know Biofilters miss stuff all the time. That's not what hemmer said in snw. It said anything foreign was immediately filtered
