So La’an is a expert about Khan. She would have been useful in Space Seed.
I mean, her conclusions are wrong.
She looks just like Camina Drummer from the Expanse.
No lie, I always thought Drummer looked like Christina Chong from Halo: Nightfall.
Also, can we agree that Una throwing around La'an like a villain knocking away Scrappy Doo and carrying that Aenar like he was a little child was hilarious?

I watched starship troopers 4 and it was allright and they had the rocket suits in it.
It was more like a TV show episode than movie. Much better than the other halo movie.

No, I mean in terms of quality it felt like a TV show. Forward until Dawn was the other movie.

Una's log entry with accompanying soaring music was a little too Burnham-esque for my liking - ditto the slow-mo with Hemmer in tow.
Did La'an always know Una's true heritage, or are they suggesting she found out in this episode? If the latter, she was nowhere near sickbay; how did she know (if she didn't already)?
I didn't really care for the plot and was bored through most of the episode. I know some are giddy over the return to the adventure-of-the-week format - and I thought I'd be a fan after years of trudging through overwrought / under-baked serialized twaddle. But, this isn't really knocking my socks off.
At this juncture, first episode was good. Second was alright. This is firmly mediocre. Different kettle of fish to the other series where everything hinges on how the season coalesces around the major plot. Here, we have multiple chances to hit the mark. Given we only have ten episodes, I need something to really wow me soon-ish to keep me engaged. Not quite the clean break I was hoping for, unfortunately.
Oh, and the Doctor's daughter was a bit of unnecessary silliness.
I'll go down the middle with a 5.
