Do you get distracted by the mountains of muscle on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, or Dave Bautistia, or John Cena?
All former WWE guys known for having "Mountains of Muscles".
All who appear nearly naked for a god chunk of their career in-ring, or on screen.
Actually, yes. Depends on the role. I like Dwayne Johnson. But I can't take him serious in his roles. He's always Dwayne Johnson. Same for John Cena. Batista - somehow has amazing acting skill
and a great pick for roles - he somehow usually fits in (Dune, GotG, Bond, Blade Runner). And don't forget good old Arnold Schwarzenegger. Great as Conan & Terminator. Not so sure about True Lies and Total Recall. His size was a bit too much for these roles.
It gets more complicated with superheroes. Thor, Wolverine, Captain America I understand being jacked. Ant-Man? Yeah no.
When you open up casting to the widest possible base.
Many Polynesian / Samoan / Pacific Islanders can be HUGE at that age.
When Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was about Sandro Rosta's age, he was equally huge & jacked.
Lots of black actors as well. Travis Mayweather on ENT was also ridiculously jacked beneath that baggy jumpsuit.
Interesting fact, Sandro Rosta, this is his 2nd acting Gig, ever according to
IMBD.
Talk about landing a sweet role as your 2nd acting Gig & first major Gig to begin with.
Yeah the kid is gold. Like a polynesian Chris Hemsworth. 2m tall, unreal body, ridiculously good-looking & charming.
But yeah - almost
too big, at least for his current role, a kid who grew up on the run. (Hemsworth recently also got "too" big for my liking btw).
Somehow the juice & actors routine got hypercharged the last decade(s). It's a bit much tbh.
Also, SAM was technically cheating by using her Holographic Permeability within the game, but since it wasn't in the rule-books, it's hard to blame them for pulling the stunt.
It was a brilliant tactical move.
"Destroying public replicators with paintball guns" is surely against the rulebook, no?
So, after 1000 years of holographic technology Starfleet never adjusted the rulebooks? I thought holograms would be the ultimate training partners...
