Both defeated by Murf!
The Pokemon fight I didn't know I needed.
This was fun.
Loved the main plot with Mariner trying to get demoted and the puffy but incredibly dangerous animal (I actually thought Mariner wasn’t going to be Ransom’s problem for long because he was getting a promotion to captain) and the Rutherford/Tendi b-plot was nice too. Didn’t care much about the Boimler plot but it was ok, that you could just filter more light in the first quarter was obvious and I’m surprised Boimler didn’t know and Shaxx didn’t tell him (but maybe he didn’t know why he wanted to change quarters).
Great that they are building this menacy ship thing each episode. Also the new Romulan ship design is really good.
it kinda looks like the Slave 1 (Boba Fett’s ship).
Nitpicking: there is no reason why both Rutherford and Tilik shouldn’t get a promotion if they both deserve one. It isn’t a competition.
Actually, there is if the promotions are for specific positions on the ship.
I moopsy this episode ten moopsies out of ten.
Sure glad there are no mysterious threats attracted by envious rivalry on the horizon. Moopsy!
Well that’s an image I’m not going to be able to get out of my head
Moopsy Chow! That is just AWESOME!
Moopsy? Meet Tim Shaw.
Depends on how many billets are available at that rank in that department.
Rutherford: "Wait, you can just ask for things that you deserve?!"
Why did I get the feeling that was also the case for Harry Kim?
Murf could do a team-up of his own.
So random, yet it makes so much sense.
I can't even remember what inspired me to do that one.
Another nice one. I really like this light, breezy style of Star Trek.
In the clowning seconds, Rutherford was using a tool… I’m sure the sound effect from it was the same as Doctor Who’s sonics screwdriver.
That sound has popped up more than once, and yeah it's a dead ringer.
Both episodes this week were an 8 in my opinion. I enjoyed seeing Mariner doing her best to undo her promotion, but the scene where Ransom explains he knows exactly what she's planning, and won't fall for her bullshit was perfect.
Ruthord's battle with the other engineering ensign had me in stitches, mostly because of the evil glare they kept giving each other.
I'm glad Rutherford ended up getting a promotion too.
Moopsy is very cute, as bone-ting monsters go.
The mystery surrounding the ongoing enemy for the season is intriguing.
Harry asked about it, Janeway wasn't so accomodating.
Janeway: It's like this...I think Tom is hot and Tuvok is my bro.
