This was fun.
Loved the main plot with Mariner trying to get demoted and the puffy but incredibly dangerous animal (I actually thought Mariner wasn’t going to be Ransom’s problem for long because he was getting a promotion to captain) and the Rutherford/Tendi b-plot was nice too. Didn’t care much about the Boimler plot but it was ok, that you could just filter more light in the first quarter was obvious and I’m surprised Boimler didn’t know and Shaxx didn’t tell him (but maybe he didn’t know why he wanted to change quarters).

8.

Great that they are building this menacy ship thing each episode. Also the new Romulan ship design is really good.

Both episodes this week were an 8 in my opinion. I enjoyed seeing Mariner doing her best to undo her promotion, but the scene where Ransom explains he knows exactly what she's planning, and won't fall for her bullshit was perfect.

Ruthord's battle with the other engineering ensign had me in stitches, mostly because of the evil glare they kept giving each other.

I'm glad Rutherford ended up getting a promotion too.

Moopsy is very cute, as bone-ting monsters go. :D

The mystery surrounding the ongoing enemy for the season is intriguing.
