That ending shot of the old girl flying toward the camera should have had Rihanna sitting on the saucer.
Well as @King Daniel Beyond said the movie has been held up in "evelopment hell" so no one really knows if a 4th movie will happen. It's a bloody shame.
No I want to see what Tarrantino does.... It could be good
I felt bad because the characters felt bad. The look on Kirk's face in the pod as the Enterprise went down was so evocative that I couldn't help but feel with him.
I didn't react to the ENT-D because it was played for laughs, with Data's line, and Picard's almost non-reaction to walking through the debris, kicking over his chair and artifacts because they're just "material possessions." I had more emotional reaction "All Good Things" when the ENT-D of the future drove in to the anomaly than in that film. Again, because of how the characters were reacting.
Same thing with the original Enterprise. Kirk's reaction drives my mood. "My God, Bones. What have I done?" Perfectly cements the reaction.
Yeah, that's Sledgehammer by Rihanna. I think it's licensing.I just got the Beyond soundtrack and howcome the song on the end credits isn't on the soundtrack? Was that a licensing thing?

Although I don't think the slightly extended Beyond end credits version is available anywhere but YouTube?
rihanna released the song as a single, it's on iTunes. the end credits are available on the expanded album that came out about 6 months after the initial soundtrack, you can find it here: Star Trek Beyond: The Deluxe EditionI just got the Beyond soundtrack and howcome the song on the end credits isn't on the soundtrack? varese did complete soundtracks for all three films, but beyond is the only one that came so quickly after the film hit theaters. all three are highly recommended.
If only Beyond had made 2b less than Endgames total we'd be waiting on ST5 next summerDid anyone notice the floating hologram graphics in Avengers: Endgame near the start showing the dusted (and presumed dusted) characters of Dr. Strange and Scott Lang were identical to the ones at the end of Star Trek: Beyond showing the USS Franklin crew's cases being closed at Yorktown HQ?
Abramsverse is the future of MCU CONFIRMED!!!!Did anyone notice the floating hologram graphics in Avengers: Endgame near the start showing the dusted (and presumed dusted) characters of Dr. Strange and Scott Lang were identical to the ones at the end of Star Trek: Beyond showing the USS Franklin crew's cases being closed at Yorktown HQ?
Both sets are transparent holo-headshots, but the stylistic trappings aren't the same.Did anyone notice the floating hologram graphics in Avengers: Endgame near the start showing the dusted (and presumed dusted) characters of Dr. Strange and Scott Lang were identical to the ones at the end of Star Trek: Beyond showing the USS Franklin crew's cases being closed at Yorktown HQ?
I can't do a direct comparison because my Endgame is blueray, but at a glance they looked identical. I guess not though. Both sets are transparent holo-headshots, but the stylistic trappings aren't the same.
Yes, at least a couple of people mentioned having spotted that back in July 2016:
My sentiments exactly. The closest thing weve ever got to the orginal series honestly
