I’ve know. And watched Sir Patrick since seeing him in I Claudius in the mid 1970s. I had an opportunity to ask him a question at a convention back in the early 1990s. I was only six rows back from the stage. I asked him if he could share any memories from I Claudius. He said that he had never been asked that question before. He mentioned the costumes that where made from a company in Rome, I believe, he mentioned the wigs.
This has been, difficult, not like a normal “Celebrity death”. It’s like loosing a dear and close uncle. I thought I’d be able to ask him that question again some day and I;d wondered if he would remember being asked that question.
