Alright the third trivia concerning devil in the dark was that it was tied with where no man has gone before and what are little girls made of as the first season episodes with the fewest number of recurring characters speaking.
In where no man has gone before Kirk Spock Scott and Sulu all speak.
In what are little girls made of Kirk Spock Uhura and Chapel all speak.
And in Devil in the dark Kirk Spock McCoy and Scott all speak. But in none of those three episodes do any other recurring characters speak. I believe 4 is the minimum number that ever happened on the original series as far as regulars with speaking parts. I know that all our yesterdays had Kirk Spock McCoy and Scott speak even though Scott did not make a physical appearance.
Was no one interested in making a guess on the number of episodes a Starfleet shuttle appeared on the series?
I'm not including TOS remastered where they may have added shuttles for external scenes as I think they did in court-martial.

Yes, it's eight. And you can make a spreadsheet showing what combination of miniature fx, interior set, and the mock-up were seen in each episode.

Where did all those markings, on the Enterprise, come from in fan art? Hint: one source was the Photo novels

In ¹965 when the Datin company delivered the 11 ¹/2 footer - there were hardly any markings on it at all

I came up with eight also on the shuttles so it looks like is the number.
    Here's another one.....

Besides Kirk Spock McCoy Sulu Uhura and Scott....
... how many actors had speaking Parts as crewman in all three seasons?

    The true unsung heroes~

Also side note: Chris Doohan ages like wine; when he played Kyle 10 years ago or a year ago, he looks like he's still 40.

Was David L. Ross/Lt. Galloway one of them? (Speaking parts/all 3 seasons).

Other obvious guess - Mr. Leslie/Eddie Paskey, though I can't remember if he got lines in S2 or S3.

Majel Barrett and David L Ross are the other two that I know of. And no Eddie Paskey did not have lines in season 2 or 3

Okay here's one you're either going to know by now or not you're not going to be able to guess. What other performer besides James Doohan was missing a finger?
And since two actors on the original series were missing fingers that means that one half of 1% (2 of 400 speaking parts) of all actors on Star Trek had missing fingers. LOL.
I have hints that I will give if nobody gets this in a timely fashion

Wow you made that seem awful easy! Yeah that's him. And yes he grows it back magically just like James Doohan does when his hands get close-up shots.

Poor guy has completely dropped off the map nobody knows what happened to him. He first appeared in the second season he appeared in most episodes there after and had his one and only speaking line in the final episode turnabout intruder. They don't even have a birth date or year on him. He could be alive but possibly not. All the other regular stand-ins Eddie Paskey Frank davincii William Blackburn -- whereabouts or date of death are known.

Here's one that I'm not sure if I posted already and I'm sort of too lazy to go back and read the whole thread. Apologies if I did but I don't think so. What 6 actors appeared on the series but died before the series had finished its first run episodes? And which one of those died before their episode had ever aired?
