Also, I wish I had your guts to get a tattoo. I'm a sissy boy. :shifty:
You'd seem weird with a tattoo.
Well, I need something that'd look good with the green scales.

I think you should get one, Iguana. I've been working off and on on a painting of a man with the mathematical formulation of the standard model on his back. That'd be a sweet tatt.
Oooh. Now you are teasing me!

You'd seem weird with a tattoo.
Weirder than normal? :p.
Yes, weirder than normal!
I'm not weird. I'm dashingly eccentric.

I'll have to design something. I might convert that Mets "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster into a cross stitch chart. My sister would love it.

Hey, at least they're not as bad as last season. And even the Nats aren't in last place!

I did my nails special for the holiday! Toenails are a very pretty light blue, to coordinate. Behold my hand!

^I think text looks beautiful on skin. Though I'm not fond of the most popular text -- one's name (or a loved-one's name) in script. Everybody and their cousin has that.

I could never get a tattoo myself. The thought of ink under my skin = shiver. That, and I hate needles. So, I could never go through with it even if I wanted to.

However, I saw a guy with a text tat the other day that even I thought was awesome. It was on his bicep and was a quote from the Antonio Banderas movie The 13th Warrior. It read....

'Lo, there do I see my father.
'Lo, there do I see my mother
And my sisters and my brothers.
'Lo, there do I see the line of my
People, back to the beginning.
'Lo, they do call to me.
They bid me take my place among
Them in the Halls of Valhalla.
Where the brave may live forever.

Some people think I'm weird.
Hell, I know you're weird. But then again, so am I :)

As for the discussion of tattoos that have popped up, I'm all for tattoos as long as they're tasteful. As in not covering your face and/or entire body with them. And if it's anything I've learned about tsq over the years it's that she's all about tastefulness.

I don't have any tattoos but I love looking at other peoples. I will always stop someone in the street and compliment them if they have a great one.

Some cell phone photos from the last couple weekends....

Went to my first Indian wedding:

Tired and sunburnt at Hero Burger after going to the Rogers Centre and watching Roy Halladay win his 11th game against his old team. Chase Utley hit the game winning homer for me (I'm wearing an Utley jersey):

My little LOLCats.

My new cat Sierra that we adopted from a friend. She's three-years-old:

Wow, how recently did you adopt the new one? I'm stunned, but happy, to see two rescue cats acclimating so quickly to one another.

(Our two cats are rescues, too; my wife got the female in late 2003 and the male in early 2005; they generally avoid each other outside of occasional episodes of snuggling together on the bed.)
