^lol

It's actually a really important message for me. I need to be reminded that neither beauty nor truth are found in perfection.
Oh, how true  Both in a comical and literal way.

I'm reminded of something I once said in a previous Misc. thread a long while back about the problem of trying to embrace something that is deemed "normal." I wonder what happened to that line of conversation? Ah well, nobody's perfect...

I was walking around Alphabet City today, listening to the Buzzcocks, passing the punks and the crackheads and the yuppies and trying to imagine the neighborhood as it was at its height in the 1970s and 80s, when I passed a tattoo parlor. It just felt so right:

I've never gotten a tattoo on a whim before, but this has always been a favorite quote from a favorite person. I think the artist did a great job, too; my arm is tiny, and it was really hard to get the text at a big enough size to prevent ink bleeding and promote legibility but small enough not to take up my whole forearm!

you to a T

Finally got around to hanging up my Doctor Who pics-

And here is the cake I made for my sister's wedding anniversary...

i think that tattoo and the idea of a sleeve design tattoo has killed my love for you TSQ. congrats.

*walks off to sob quietly in the corner*

i know, but sleeve designs are a really big turn off for me. and a musical thingy on one arm's a bit different to scribbling text across your arm.

hey ho. ymmv, just mnsho...

^I think text looks beautiful on skin. Though I'm not fond of the most popular text -- one's name (or a loved-one's name) in script. Everybody and their cousin has that.
^Francis Bacon was the bomb. And, I have indeed been called a physics groupie!
You are a women of exquisite taste.

Also, I wish I had your guts to get a tattoo. I'm a sissy boy. :shifty:

You'd seem weird with a tattoo.

Weirder than normal? :p. I think you should get one, Iguana. I've been working off and on on a painting of a man with the mathematical formulation of the standard model on his back. That'd be a sweet tatt.

Yes, weirder than normal! Though I think sleeves are awesome and am interested to see what you do in the future, TSQ.

Kira's Mom, amazing work! I wish I had half your talent (and patience).

Weird is relative with this group, though.
