I'm a sucker for compliments about my beard. Yep. Too old to be a punk, too young to be a grump.
Well, as generalizations go, they are a great people. Hard working, self-reliant, very proud of their heritage, but at the same time incredibly generous and fun-loving. Drinking a fabulous spritz chatting amiably with complete strangers was really an experience.
