PICTURE POST!

From the same Venice series: yours truly, looking rather pale.
I've always wondered what you looked like, and I think this is the first picture I've seen of you (and I'm really late to the party)...
I think I posted a couple pictures in TNZ before, but it was some time ago. I'm not really a picture person (which is funny, since I'm as narcissistic as they come...)

Nice one. Looking good. =)
Thanks!

Very distinguished. :D
Which stands for "looking old, but still charming". I can live with that. ;)

More seriously, recently I compared my latest pictures with the ones I took just a couple of years ago, and I was surprised to see how aged I looked. I'm not really concerned, but it's weird. I guess turning 30 can screw with you!

Loved the Venice shots too, very special place.
It is indeed. It's crowded and overly tourist-y, but it's still amazing. And Venetian people are a riot.

Me, in my office.
What strikes me most about this photo is that you have a book entitled FEAR.
He wrote it.

Not old at all, I meant the beard!

Join the club! I turned 30 recently too, and I definitely feel it's an awkward age.

What did you think of them, just out of curiosity?

I've said before that he looks like Alan Rickman from the first Die Hard.

Nice suit. John Phillips, London. I have two myself. Rumor has it Arafat buys his there.

Now that's what a professor should look like.

Thank you. And thank you for not pointing out the dozen sartorial mistakes I doubtless made. :o

My webcam sucks so hard, but hey, at least it's an up to date picture ;)

I'll skip the obvious sucking joke and just say, "How you doin'? ;)

Dagnab it, do you live on the server, or something? I see SPCTRE looking all cute and adorable, and decide to say something, and I scroll down, and you've beaten me to it... again. :scream:

:p

I know I'm double posting this (in the pet thread, too), but it's the only recent pic I have of myself. It's from a couple days ago. Me an' my boys chillin' in da crib. :p

I post a pic of me hanging out with a pair of Labs, with party hats no less, and get nothing.

You do it and suddenly you're more popular than a 2 for 1 beer special.

I just don't get it.

FWIW, I was going to say something but I was fairly sure that a compliment coming from me wouldn't be what you were looking for...

:o I'm a sucker for compliments about my beard. :D

Yep. Too old to be a punk, too young to be a grump.

And Venetian people are a riot.
What did you think of them, just out of curiosity?
Well, as generalizations go, they are a great people. Hard working, self-reliant, very proud of their heritage, but at the same time incredibly generous and fun-loving. Drinking a fabulous spritz chatting amiably with complete strangers was really an experience.

Well, it is true that I am an exceptional thief. :techman:

Here I am...

As you can see, we're scraping off all the nasty old bathroom paint at the moment (why did I take pics in the bathroom? Sunlight through big window at about 5pm)

Hey fire away, I'm comfortable with myself. I'll take a compliment on my good looks and snappy wit from anyone - animal, mineral, or vegetable!

I was going to suggest that it looked like you were making preparations for a canine centipede...
