It's probably a good thing you didn't get sucked into a conversation with him. From what I've heard he has a near-obsession with topics such as architecture and agriculture and loves getting into talks and debates about them both. That'd be one pretty dry discussion to have on a street corner in London.

I wouldn't mind chatting with him. You should never pass up a chance to hobnob with important people. At worst, you are out a little time and have a short anecdot to tell on here later. But, it could end up being an unintended encounter with life changing results.

Oh, I was just being facetious. I'd certainly take the opportunity to chat with someone like the Prince of Wales, even if his interests might not necessarily be my own. I'm always open-minded to encounters with important people and have had opportunities in the past to talk to politicians, actors and other luminaries who have visited my city. You can always learn something from a person like that. Even if it's not a life-changing encounter it can be something quite memorable and an event to tell your children and grandkids about.

Yeah, that seems odd. My girlfriend's floor is coed, but the bathrooms most certainly aren't. She did say there are similar signs in the women's room, though--just stuff about cleaning up after yourself. Nothing about "substances."

It's a bathroom. People who are gonna do drugs tend to do it either out in the woods or in their own dorm, not the bathroom.

I dunno, maybe people are doing other bodily functions in the shower and not cleaning up after themselves.
