It all worked out since Kamala ended up liking what she came up with, but it still seems like would have been right to offer her the opportunity for some input.
That's not how surprises work.

Sometimes they work like Little Hulk. That's not how surprises work.
But that was the point--her mother knows her well, and has made something she knew Kamala would like rather than something she wanted for Kamala to like.Sometimes they work like Little Hulk.
Well she already did a costume with Bruno. This was going to be new.It all worked out since Kamala ended up liking what she came up with, but it still seems like would have been right to offer her the opportunity for some input.
Liking this post isn't enough, I have to say that you're spot on.But that was the point--her mother knows her well, and has made something she knew Kamala would like rather than something she wanted for Kamala to like.
I didn't hate AOS but I didn't love it enough to need it to be shoehorned into a completely separate series that has no actual or fanciful connection to it.I mean that's a more logical and specific take on this episode, and probably avoids having multiple pages about Agents of Shield canon being shot to hell yet again in the MCU in this topic like the MCU topic gets![]()

I mean, hey, WandaVision and Loki HAVE to be all about AOS and bringing it into this universe? Honestly I don't care about AOS anymore.
Oops.I posted that news a few days ago.![]()
@Reverend I think the most glaring example of Marvel television exhibiting the MetLife building was actually on Agents of SHIELD. In one episode there is a scene that has Glenn Talbot addressing the United Nations and talking about how there were aliens coming through the portal above New York and how The Avengers saved everybody. However, the establishing shot of that scene was a New York skyline that prominently featured the MetLife building rather than Stark tower, a location that is being actively spoken about in the dialogue.
Another thing about the costume. In Episode 1, Ammi expresses disgust at the “tight” costumes worn by superheroines and cosplayers.
In Episode 6, she makes Kamala a tighter, more form-fitting costume than she ever made for herself, and rivaling anything we see at AvengerCon.
I understand she’s more understanding toward her daughter now, but why the flip-flop on the attitude toward revealing costumes? It doesn’t seem like anything Kamala asked for.
Ummm, when you log in to Disney+ to watch the show she is pictured right there in front of you in that costume before you even watch an episode. You should probably complain to Disney about it.Please! Put at least a spoiler tag!

I was ironic..?Ummm, when you log in to Disney+ to watch the show she is pictured right there in front of you in that costume before you even watch an episode. You should probably complain to Disney about it.
I've read the first volume, and how she got her powers didn't complete make sense to me. It seemed very fever-dream-y/trippy.I've read very few comics with Kamala Khan in them, so I wasn't sure how excited I was going to be for this show.
