Other than the ridiculous Supermax escape I enjoyed the episode. I think the show is better than Moon Knight which I really loved.
Says you. Not the show I'm watching.
She's from Jersey. Her great-grandmother might be. Or maybe I'm a Pomeranian prince.
Some of the time. Why this time?
She hasn't called herself anything yet. At most she's been cos-playing a character from her poster on her bedroom wall. That would make me at least a dozen characters I've dressed up as at FanCon over the years. On top of being a Pomeranian Prince. Jeez, I should have had my own movie by now.
Every glowing doohickey would be terrigen crystal if you were in charge. OH SHIT!!! There's a terrrigen crystal on the back of my computer!!!!!
<SHAZOOOM!!!> "i AM LAX! HIGH PRINCE OF POMERANIA!! BASTARD SON OF PERRIN!!! GOD OF ASSKICKING FOR JUSTICE!!!! LET ALL EVIL DOERS AND WEINERS BEWARE MY AWESOME SCRUTINY!!!!!
There's only so much any good actor can do with material like that. Mount had the distinct advantage of having zero dialogue, so it was all about his performance, essentially unhindered by the scripts.I've never watched Inhumans and probably never will, but I am saddened to see that Iwan Rheon doesn't apparently rate as one of the few good things about it. He's a terrific actor as evidenced by the sharp contrast of performances in Game of Thrones and Vicious.
You are wrong too.
We have been watching the Marvellous adventures of the terrific Nightlight.
She didn't call herself that, everyone else called her that and she hated it.
Looking forward to the amazing team up with Night Monkey! You are wrong too.

Toby McGuire Peter Parker didn't name himself Spider-Man. Comics Thing and Hulk were named by terrified females passing through, and given Marvel sliding time they probably tried to become Instagram famous from the deed.
They did accept those names, though. Kamala hasn't. And - judging by the show's title - she won't.
Heh, fair enough. There's only so much any good actor can do with material like that. Mount had the distinct advantage of having zero dialogue, so it was all about his performance, essentially unhindered by the scripts.
Even though Carol feels like the obvious choice, somehow Monica seems the more likely. What are the chances either Carol Danvers and/or Monica Rambeau will make an appearance at least in the Post credits?
Yes, hollow. That's the feeling I was trying to grasp at. I agree we didn't get to know her well enough beyond a two-dimensional villain driven by a singular goal and damn the consequences. The turn wasn't earned.Still, overall I felt this episode was better than the last in terms of balancing action and story, though it still all feels a little rushed. Najma's turn was just so abrupt that it honestly felt a little hollow to me. We haven't spent nearly enough time with some of these characters for the more emotional scenes to actually land and feel earned.
What are the chances either Carol Danvers and/or Monica Rambeau will make an appearance at least in the Post credits?
I suspect they'll save the Carol/Kamala meeting for The Marvels, so if anyone appears, it'll be Monica. But not entirely certain that even she'll appear.Even though Carol feels like the obvious choice, somehow Monica seems the more likely.
Najma's turn was so out of nowhere that I didn't even understand what I was seeing. Did she sacrifice herself to close the portal because she thought it would destroy the world and kill the son she abandoned? You'd think she would have thought about that when she was abandoning him! Or was she not expecting to actually die and thought she could close it then go back and get him? I don't know, as I said before I think Clandestine have been terrible villains and have dragged the whole show, which I thought was truly great in its first two episodes, down. And now it looks like Kamran is going to turn bad in under one episode just so that Kamala has someone with similar powers to fight in the finale. I hope I'm wrong and it's just them teaming up against Damage Control (who are kind of lame too but at least they're solid villains)...
All the visual inventiveness of the first two episodes has disappointingly disappeared too.
