The Klingon changes are welcome, as Klingons are easily the worst element of DISCO's "reimagining" of ST.
Since Picard almost definitely didn't put the words 'Klingon criminal' on Kirk's tomb in Veridian III, I'm sure Kor came along later and carved the words himself in both Klingon and English with his Bat'leth.I'm sure Kirk had that on his tombstone. Wherever that one ended up being.

I remember seeing something (not sure the source-possible a Trek encyclopedia) listing the Albino as a "Klingon criminal." So, it has been a part of the lore for a bit.
The novels have also made him a Klingon. His disfigured ridges and albinism caused by someone trying to fix the damage caused by the Augment Virus.
I think.

been a while for this thread, but since the season is over and we got a look at a couple more klingons before it ended... just wanted to observe that glenn hetrick's klingon k'vort is probably my favorite klingon makeup of season 2:

YES!
That's a fuckin' amazing modern take on what Klingons should look like! I think probably the best Klingon design so far on DIS.
Also noticeable - the closest one to the "traditional" Klingon look: No vaudeville blackface lips, more nuanced nostrils, no egg-shaped head, and lots and lots of glorious hair.Even if it still went a little overboard on the forehead wrinkles, especially that bead directly above the nose blocking the view.
Rahul approves. Please let CBS knowYES!

first one, then the other. i assume. As in the K'Vort class cruiser? Or just a common Klingon name?
he looks like something out of narnia here (i think because of the lighting), but here's a full shot of the costume:Wasn't his uniform aboard L'Rell's flagship also slightly reminiscent of TOS Klingon uniforms? I saw somebody mention similarities between his uniform and those worn by the Klingon Defense Force during the TOS Era.
I somehow expected them to be more fearsome lookingTimelapse video of Mary Chieffo being transformed to L'rell: https://www.instagram.com/stories/dyanecbeauty/?hl=fi (Instagram story, will disappear after 24 hours) (NSFW warning: Klingon boobs!)

I guess some fans thought the shiny gold fabric resembled parts of TOS Klingon uniforms or something. I guess if you kinda squint a little at certain parts of K'Vort's costume there's a soft, non-armored TOS feel to them.
