The Klingon changes are welcome, as Klingons are easily the worst element of DISCO's "reimagining" of ST.
Since Picard almost definitely didn't put the words 'Klingon criminal' on Kirk's tomb in Veridian III, I'm sure Kor came along later and carved the words himself in both Klingon and English with his Bat'leth.
Ah, but that wasn't Kirk's tomb. There's no way in hell old man Picard could have dragged the body up that mountain even if he somehow managed to hack it free of the collapsed catwalk. If Kirk got a tombstone, that would have been back in 2293, next to an empty grave. And Kirk probably would have left detailed instructions on what to phaser onto that slab of Kalandan outpost stone... Timo Saloniemi
been a while for this thread, but since the season is over and we got a look at a couple more klingons before it ended... just wanted to observe that glenn hetrick's klingon k'vort is probably my favorite klingon makeup of season 2:
Wasn't his uniform aboard L'Rell's flagship also slightly reminiscent of TOS Klingon uniforms? I saw somebody mention similarities between his uniform and those worn by the Klingon Defense Force during the TOS Era.

YES! That's a fuckin' amazing modern take on what Klingons should look like! I think probably the best Klingon design so far on DIS. Also noticeable - the closest one to the "traditional" Klingon look: No vaudeville blackface lips, more nuanced nostrils, no egg-shaped head, and lots and lots of glorious hair.Even if it still went a little overboard on the forehead wrinkles, especially that bead directly above the nose blocking the view.
The eyebrows really help. Even after growing back hair, the other Klingons on the show mostly lacked eyebrows.
first one, then the other. i assume. he looks like something out of narnia here (i think because of the lighting), but here's a full shot of the costume:
I guess some fans thought the shiny gold fabric resembled parts of TOS Klingon uniforms or something. I guess if you kinda squint a little at certain parts of K'Vort's costume there's a soft, non-armored TOS feel to them.
Under the right (lack of) lighting, and if you squint just right, it could vaguely resemble TOS Klingon garb, at least in terms of color scheme: https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/K'vort_(Klingon) Kor
