I'm just gonna go ahead and start a new thread for my rewatch of New Who Seasons 5-11 and my first time watching 12 & 13 rather than continuing to derail other threads.
I've only seen these seasons back when they originally aired, and I'd forgotten just how great they were. I'd always said that David Tennants first run was my favorite era, but rewatching these now, I think I'm gonna have to change that this era.
I just watched The Doctor's Wife, and it really is a shame Neil Gaiman is such a sadistic asshole, because he really is a great writer.
It is more fun watching these episodes now, knowing who River really is. It's bugging me, I cannot remember how The Doctor survived his shooting at the lake or came back to life without regenerating.
