Klingon change for season 2?

Yeah, the less I think about the Season 1 Klingons and the explanations behind their designs the better. CBS can't keep their stories straight and the redesign was already a terrible idea to begin with, but if they'd at least stuck to one consistent explanation for most of the past two years I could at least be less skeptical of the suits and how they've run the series.

Didn't the show's overall supervisor change mid-season? Different people could have different ideas on how to handle stuff.

Oh, switching the people who run things is fine. It happens frequently. I just wish they'd stuck to a consistent and coherent explanation.

It's not that hard. Just say what happened. Confusing the audience and the fans doesn't usually help.

That's what boards like this are for. When I watch the show, I watch the show. BTS nonsense has been going on since 1964.

The only word on the subject the actual show itself has is when Burnham said, "I heard the Klingons are growing their hair again." You can't possibly get more straight-forward than that.

There's been 3 actually if you count the original show runner Brian Fuller. All these changes haven't helped the show. I think with Kurtzman now as the lead it takes on a more consistent tone/style.

Yeah, there was the idea that Klingon ridges had sensory receptors which work better without hair in the way.

Okay, didn't realize there had been more. Not really a fan of Kurtzman, since I didn't care for his work on the Kelvin movies, to be honest, but a consistent voice directing the overall show should be a good thing.

Not sure what it hurts either.

No one believes them anyway.
