Exclusive Clip

The Enterprise in Wrath of Khan was a cadet training ship, and the Republic was spoken of in TOS and DS9 as another such vessel. The Athena is no different. It's a 50 year old part of the lore that SFA has training ships.
There was also the USS Valiant in DS9 which ended up being sent behind enemy lines on a mission to destroy what was tantamount to a flying starbase with a bunch of cadets making up the majority of the crew.

But SNW is entirely Fanwank. Why isn't t anyone mentioning that except me
Perhaps take the hint.

Hey! I'm 10 pounds less overweight than I was 8 weeks ago.....

It's something......
Same, though I got started with mine on Nov. 1. Trying to lose weight during the last two months of the year is Expert Mode, but I've done it before, and dammit - I'll do it again!

And as the ARM Cuauhtémoc incident in New York demonstrated this year, sadly there are indeed accidents and fatalities on board training vessels.

I only want Legacy if it is set on a new ship that isn't an Enterprise with a new crew who have zero links to any previous characters.

Well you are getting better than that. After Academy, the prime and Kelvin universes are done. We are getting a complete brand new start and franchise from the ground up...😃

The new movie being about new people doesn't necessarily mean they are throwing all the previous stuff in the bin.

I feel that. I once dropped about 40-50 kgs. Gained some weight again. Now I want to go to a reasonable weight. I don't need to drop back 74kg, but 90-92 would be nice.
Pro-tip, I don't know if you drink alcohol but I've been alcoholfree for almost 7 weeks, that helps a lot! Also, just measuring out things like pasta and rice before you cook it helps a lot too. If there's nothing after a healthy, normal portion, you can't eat more.

Oh man you just brought up so many memories of when I rapidly gained a lot of weight but slowly lost them over the years but by my early 20s I was at healthy weight again.
Carbs definitely play a role in gaining fast weight, I've been relatively carb-free for nearly two decades now.
Just can't kick the damn soda habit! :ouch:
