One, the dad jokes. And two his speed and pacing is off from the original film. How did it mess Vader up?

That's a bullshit rationalization.I don't remember the jokes. But speed and pacing?.. maybe was tired once in went into the opening of a new hope.

That's a bullshit rationalization.
The pacing is so off to be distracting.
But, proves the point that if it's a change fans are happy with they'll rationalize away anything.
It's the same idea.Bro I don't even remember Vader's pacing or speed. But it's still tiny compared to what SNW has done ....
There was also the USS Valiant in DS9 which ended up being sent behind enemy lines on a mission to destroy what was tantamount to a flying starbase with a bunch of cadets making up the majority of the crew. The Enterprise in Wrath of Khan was a cadet training ship, and the Republic was spoken of in TOS and DS9 as another such vessel. The Athena is no different. It's a 50 year old part of the lore that SFA has training ships.
I only want Legacy if it is set on a new ship that isn't an Enterprise with a new crew who have zero links to any previous characters.People got a taste of Trek of the current times, they are hardly memorable.
That's why PIC S3 stood out and fans wanted Legacy.
And less fan wankI only want Legacy if it is set on a new ship that isn't an Enterprise with a new crew who have zero links to any previous characters.
Yeah your edit makes more sense, but the point still stands.Fixed it for you.
Perhaps take the hint. But SNW is entirely Fanwank. Why isn't t anyone mentioning that except me
Same, though I got started with mine on Nov. 1. Trying to lose weight during the last two months of the year is Expert Mode, but I've done it before, and dammit - I'll do it again!Hey! I'm 10 pounds less overweight than I was 8 weeks ago.....

And as the ARM Cuauhtémoc incident in New York demonstrated this year, sadly there are indeed accidents and fatalities on board training vessels. The Enterprise in Wrath of Khan was a cadet training ship, and the Republic was spoken of in TOS and DS9 as another such vessel. The Athena is no different. It's a 50 year old part of the lore that SFA has training ships.

*Citation Needed*After Academy, the prime and Kelvin universes are done. We are getting a complete brand new start and franchise from the ground up
Hey they could go Ethan Hunt.*Citation Needed*
The new movie being about new people doesn't necessarily mean they are throwing all the previous stuff in the bin.
I'll believe it when I see it. One thing is for certain though, the people who hate the Kurtzman era will hate that 'new start' as well.Well you are getting better than that. After Academy, the prime and Kelvin universes are done. We are getting a complete brand new start and franchise from the ground up...![]()
I'm not betting any money on this and I'll bet good money that this supposed new era will be hated by the first announcement.Well you are getting better than that. And by the same people currently cheering for it.I'm not betting any money on this and I'll bet good money that this supposed new era will be hated by the first announcement.

Oh man you just brought up so many memories of when I rapidly gained a lot of weight but slowly lost them over the years but by my early 20s I was at healthy weight again.I feel that. I once dropped about 40-50 kgs. Gained some weight again. Now I want to go to a reasonable weight. I don't need to drop back 74kg, but 90-92 would be nice.
Pro-tip, I don't know if you drink alcohol but I've been alcoholfree for almost 7 weeks, that helps a lot! Also, just measuring out things like pasta and rice before you cook it helps a lot too. If there's nothing after a healthy, normal portion, you can't eat more.
