Burn Notice: Season 4 - Discussion & Spoilers

I'm starting to lose track of all the people and reasons that got him burned myself. I realize it needs to be addressed, but all the twists and turns are starting to get a bit tiresome-- especially when we know the situation can never be resolved (and his status restored) until the end of the series anyway.

Well what happened at the end was certainly surprising because it was a lot sooner than I expected and literally came out of nowhere with no setup or build-up. It also made no sense for Jesse to do what he did because he no longer has any leverage or edge.

Well, I'm glad it happened. Something drastic needed to shake things up; it was getting a bit stale. I just hope this goes somewhere interesting.

Just how "brave" they'll be with this storyline remains to be seen, but I hope they let things get a bit brutal.

Brave would've been for Fiona to eat a bullet, but that wouldn't be in line with the USA Network and we already know they're coming back for at least two more seasons.

But it was stupid for Jesse to basically out himself. Now they know that he knows and he has no one to back him up.

^Agreed.

But to be fair, they had been playing up Jesse's impulsive nature and hot-headed approach to field work, especially when he's emotionally connected in some way all season long.

Since the guy was introduced, he's been a loose cannon that Michael has had to rein in. Sadly, I don't really think Jesse adds much of anything to the team or the team's dynamic. He's been an outsider all season long and I don't see that going away with whatever resolution they cook up moving into seasons 5 and 6.

Michael, Fiona, & Sam work because of the relationships between the characters.

His mom works, because of her relationship with Michael and her very different relationships with Sam & Fiona.

Jesse hasn't had a relationship with any of these guys up until this point, and what has been established has been shoehorned in. "Staying with Madeline" "Crushing on Fi"

I did enjoy this last episode, but I almost want to go back and look at the writers of this season and see who the new guy they brought in was.

It could be a saving grace (and big plot twist) if it turns out that Jesse is playing Michael and his burning was just an excuse to get in with him (a plant from Vaughan?), and all this is an act. But I seriously doubt that's where they were going.

That would've been cool---but, yeah, I don't see that happening.

What would be a dramatic turn of events is if they Michael has to end up killing Jesse. That might make him rethink his life a bit. But I'm sure it won't come to that, either.

I really don't buy Jesse crushing Fiona. "I thought we had something..." -- er -- what did you have Jesse...a few of conversations? That kiss was in context of an op. He must've thought it was more but it was a rather lame kiss. I think we're supposed to have some sympathy for the guy but he's a little too impulsive. Or the actor is playing it rather cold. I find it hard getting attached to him. I think they'll wind up having Michael blackmail Vaughn and get Jesse his job back. Or he they'll kill him off. If Jesse does die I'm sure it won't be at Michael's hands. Too dark for USA. That would be like if on Monk they revealed that Stottlemeyer murdered Monk's wife.

The cable went out, I missed an episode, but I can't force myself to catch up. Guess the show's done for me.

I hope Jesse isn't sticking around after this...He bores me.

This season seems to have a little less zip.
I don't see Jesse lasting much longer after the mid-season break. and if he does he'll probably be gone by the season finale. He'll probably get killed causing Michael to beat him self up over how he handled the whole thing. Jesse's just there to stretch the plot out.

When the daughter of a defense-attorney is kidnapped by a client of her father's, Michael tries to find the girl.

Midseason finale. I hope they don't end on a "will Jesse kill Michael or not" cliffhanger because we already know the answer to that.

I enjoyed the finale for the most part.

The twist ending wasn't much of a twist, as I saw it all coming, but still...

I'm on board for next episode, whenever it airs.

I really love this show. The Season Finale, Mr. Scott, Miracle Worker line, pretty funny with the offhand Star Trek references.

I want to see alittle bit more of the love between Micheal and Fiona. I do believe that Jesse knows who burned him. This series is one of my favorites.

Well, I'm glad someone agrees with me. It just seems that way. I dk but I just have this feeling that he does. Didn't it seem alittle odd all asudden he came straight to Michael? It didnt take him that long or anything to track him down.
