The only aspect of newer Survivor I don’t like is letting people back in at 6 with unfair advantages.
Damn, that was close between him and Hannah (never thought I'd cheer her on).Happy to see Big D get so close to winning, only to lose.
Okay, at this point, between Xavier and Kyland, which of them has the most competition wins? Xavier threw some of them, so I suspect that if he wins, at least some of the votes will be based on charisma.Keeping Claire might have been good strategy if they could get to the finals with someone equally blamed for the betrayal, but it was an emotional thing beyond the game for her.
And I think they didn't imagine Kyland would be dumb enough to want to go to the finals with the one person who will easily trounce him.
You think Tiffany or Hannah could beat him?I think Xavier wins against any other that isn't Tiffany or Hannah.
Yep. What an idiot.I was impressed with Azah’s win until she put up Hannah.
She’s equally dumb as the white people.
Now she’s sitting there looking like she knows how badly she f***ed up.
I now can’t imagine any world where the winner is not Xavier or Kyland.
I'd still be perfectly happy with Xavier.
I'm not saying I want every season to be like the abusive ones (Evil Dick comes to mind; they didn't kick him out even after he burned one of the women with his cigarette, but punished her for being angry and stressed enough to eat a burger when she was supposed to be on slop).I like the casts that have respect for each other personally a lot better than the ones who are going into the DR inexplicably calling each other the devil.
Those are the seasons that I turn off, the one where everybody is a vindictive narcissistic jerk instead of a respectful gamer. The ones who think they are morally in the right, not just playing a better game.
That season was a disaster from the get-go, because they blindsided everyone with someone from their past that they couldn't stand.Even Derek F is pretty mind compared to some of the other casts. Years like season 6 where the two sides of the house hated each other. Or the 'Clique' season where everyone inexplicably called Michelle the devil.
In Evil Dick's first season, the other side of the house might not have been as evil a human being as him, but they were just as hateful.

It's a real episode. They did the final Power of Veto competition and Xavier and Azah watched the first episode of the new CSI show that premieres in October.Come to think of it the only seasons between 7 and 16 that were even worth watching in retrospect are the Dan seasons. And those seasons were only good cause the awful people were kicked out by Dan. They vastly improved their casting from that period.
Is the 10pm episode tonight a real episode or a retrospect? I was out until 9 and didn't want to watch it just out of fear for Survivor spoilers in the ads for next week.
Who should start the Survivor thread? Should we start an ongoing Survivor/Big Brother thread so we don't have to start new ones?
