Anyone still build models?

It looks amazing! I bought an Ertl kit of DS9 back in the day, but as with Enterprise, Excelsior and Reliant before it, I didn't have the patience to do it justice like you have.

One of my favorite threads was on Norsehound’s minis:

There seems to be a related development—

The FASA project:

The YouTube channel of Joseph Melvin has a 3D print of the 1/537 Refit Dreadnought with the proper Balson-type teardrop of Aridas Sophia that is more elegant in my view than the 1979 original.

Does anyone remember the Italian brand Bburago? Whatever happened to them, and are there any brands doing die cast metal kits?

Just another update.

I know I've said it before, but I think I'm finally close to finishing this thing.

Windows will be done by tomorrow. Another day or two to finish paint and patch light leaks. Some light weathering and a clear coat, plus the part I'm looking forward to the most, attaching the Defiant.

Almost there....

Absolutely gorgeous model and built. What a beautiful eyecatcher and centerpiece for any room you place it in. Very jealous of this. Be proud of this awesome job!

Here is an odd Saladin variant
