Since Cap 2 it's gone from 'Jeez, why am I sitting through more of this crap' to 'OK, I'll give it to the end of the season'.

In The Hub, when Ward and Fitz are at the bar trying to get help to sneak across the border, I think I remember Ward speaking some foreign language to the patrons of the bar.
I don't recall for sure, but ward may also have been speaking a different language when he was sneaking into the factory in Eye Spy.
He was definitely speaking Russian in that bar. It was established for some time that he speaks it and I think he mentioned recently that there was an undercover assignment in Russia that lasted for several months.
A google search says he speaks Russian, French, Italian, and Spanish (in addition to English). Don't know the other two. I don't recall him speaking French, but I remember the others (Spanish while in Cuba, Italian in TRACKS).

Learning a new language, learning many new languages doesn't increase your knowledge of history, especially if the people teaching you those languages, want to keep you ignorant of specific facts about history.
Ignorant doesn't mean that you are stupid.
Ignorant means that there are specific or broad facts which you are unaware of.
Stupid means that it is impossible/difficult for you to calculate or remember new information.
Ward was 16 in the Juvie flashback, so he may have been 15 when he did what he did and had a shitty trailer park life before that, so whatever accidental bubble that life was, Garret put him in an even smaller bubble once he started programming the young delinquent to love Hydra.

Yeah, most seem to see it that way. I saw a solid adventure series, with good characters and relationships that were developing nicely, and a blue-skies attitude that was a refreshing change from the dark 80s angst that infests most everything, and suddenly there was a 90-second clip of a generic jet plane dogfight and explosions, and the audience was cheering and the characters were all acting out of character for the sake of forced conflict, and instead of it being about people and stories it was about everything you knew last week is a lie, and everything you found out this week will turn out to be a lie next week, and blah blah blah. But the writing did seem to be recovering a bit last week. I just keep chanting "Babylon 5" and hoping for the best.Bloody hell, no Punisher, please.
