a character I would like to see return in Strange New Worlds

I honestly expected to see him in season two. The set-up in season one seemed like he was definitely coming back.

If he does though, they'd have to find a way to thread the needle where only characters who aren't in ST5 are aware of him, and they promise not to talk about him at all. It's already a tiny bit weird that Chapel never mentions him in passing or in any reports.

He's already appeared. That was enough.
he only showed up once during one of the previous seasons. Im talking about the show really needs to bring Sybok back. him being a radical Vulcan where he had his own followers yada yada.

and him being Spock's half brother or at least a student of Spock, I still want more of Sybok in the next season of Strange New Worlds. less of the Alien movie homage of the Gorn

Yeah, no.

Sybok was a character who existed only to service a really bad story. He made no other sense. Leave that nonsense alone.

didnt regular Spock have like another estranged sibling in one of those really old Star Trek novels? wouldn't be surprised since Kirk in those old novels he like a brother and Kirk had a wife one time also I think

s? Didn't they announce a casting for Sybok in season three? I'm sure I saw something on Twitter, but it was probably speculation. I'm sure he'll be back, though.

They love Spock Secret Siblings in Modern Trek:p
Modern Trek stretches back to the 80s?

He had a evil clone, IIRC and a weird cousin who joined the circus.
The TMP novel has Kirk in some sort of marriage contract. An of course he was married to Miramanee in TOS (Paradise Syndrome)

I'll have to rewatch 5 but there might be continuity issues bringing Sybok in again now that half the TOS crew are already in SNW and they presumably don't recognize him in 5.
