he only showed up once during one of the previous seasons. Im talking about the show really needs to bring Sybok back. him being a radical Vulcan where he had his own followers yada yada. He's already appeared. That was enough.
Yeah, no.he only showed up once during one of the previous seasons. Im talking about the show really needs to bring Sybok back. him being a radical Vulcan where he had his own followers yada yada.
and him being Spock's half brother or at least a student of Spock, I still want more of Sybok in the next season of Strange New Worlds.
Didn't they announce a casting for Sybok in season three? I'm sure I saw something on Twitter, but it was probably speculation. I'm sure he'll be back, though. He's already appeared. That was enough.
Modern Trek stretches back to the 80s?s? Didn't they announce a casting for Sybok in season three? I'm sure I saw something on Twitter, but it was probably speculation. I'm sure he'll be back, though.
They love Spock Secret Siblings in Modern Trek![]()
He had a evil clone, IIRC and a weird cousin who joined the circus.didnt regular Spock have like another estranged sibling in one of those really old Star Trek novels? wouldn't be surprised since Kirk in those old novels he like a brother and Kirk had a wife one time also I think
Finnegan's career probably bottomed out as an obnoxious Instructor at the Academy.Would love to see Finnegan again.
well young Scotty arrived in the last episode of Season 2. so he missed on meeting Strange New Worlds Sybok.I'll have to rewatch 5 but there might be continuity issues bringing Sybok in again now that half the TOS crew are already in SNW and they presumably don't recognize him in 5.
They're not nitpicking, they're saying it might be complicated to bring Sybok in again on SNW for those reasons.well young Scotty arrived in the last episode of Season 2. so he missed on meeting Strange New Worlds Sybok.
Plus in Star Trek 5 movie, noone has known about Sybok anyway except for Spock where Spock claims that Sybok is his brother.
so nitpicking at Scotty and or whoever not knowing about Sybok is pointless to nitpick at
Kirk, McCoy and Chekov can't know about Sybok as they're the only ones who have direct interaction with Sybok before he's revealed to be Spock's brother. And even with McCoy and Chekov, there's wiggle room. Hell, McCoy should already have known something, having hosted Spock's katra. So really, as long as Kirk doesn't learn about Sybok, continuity is secure.I'll have to rewatch 5 but there might be continuity issues bringing Sybok in again now that half the TOS crew are already in SNW and they presumably don't recognize him in 5.
