Mantises are definitely interesting little buggers. I was absolutely captivated by the one I found. I'm a little disapointed that I never see them.
Actually, I'm kind of disappointed that all of the really cool bugs seem to be gone from the area. When I was a kid (just 11 or 12 years ago- not even really all that long), we used to have the coolest bugs at my house. Every summer, we would see tons of big swallowtail butterflies, their big, green caterpillers, lots of walking stick bugs and some really cool silkmoths. And it seemed like they all just disappeared one year. No more butterflies, moths, caterpillars, or anything. So disappointing.

I used to hear stories that mantises were a threatened species of insect in my area and that you could be given a hefty fine if you were caught killing or keeping them as pets. I never discovered if those stories had any basis in truth, but I stopped catching them after I hit puberty anyways. The luster of keeping exotic bugs in a series of glass jars kind of wore off once I discovered the wonders of girls. 
^That is certainly true... up to a point. I actually found girls were much harder to collect in jars and I went back to bugs.

so yeah this could be an unfinished cut of hair since everyone I know says cut the rest of my hair off but I like this kinda look sorta like IT from that movie (IT) or something? what is your opinion: A. cut the rest of my hair off or B. just like keep it as is?
