No I'm a Sox fan. I just hate when everyone, including asshole Sox fans (I'm look at you NECN sports fucker.), think that playing the game comes second to the names on a paper.

And as much a Yankee fan as I am, even I know that we've only just *begun* the postseason, no one is assured of getting in.

That being said, if the Yanks do make it, I hope they play the Dodgers. I think that'd be the most exciting matchup.

Lester implodes...but can the Angels win two more games?

But I thought the Red Sox already won the three games and are taking a week off before playing the Yankees?
LOL...nobody here said that beyond a bit of obvious joking, as I'm sure you know.

Don't like Boston much, I gather?

Yeah, Lester grooved a bad pitch. Not much you can do there...

But CB Bucknor, the 1B ump has been atrocious tonight....

Hopefully Game 2 gets it going....

^ Abysmal Sox pitching, even counting for the extra help to the Angels from the ump staff.

Hopefully Bad-Ass Beckett can kick it up a notch tomorrow.

I was thinking the same thing as well. Revisiting an old school rivalry while playing against the teams former skipper. It would be great stuff

My dream LCS would be Twins/Angels and Rockies/Cardinals with Twins/Rockies in the WS. odds are 0.01% that will happen.

Well, let's give credit where credit is due.

Lackey pitched one hell of a game last night. He gave up 4 singles in 7+, and shut out the Red Sox for the first time in postseason since 1995.

:techman:

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :angryrazz:

Those are the two teams I'm going against!

Also if anyone is going to The Rockies game tomorrow I think someone said it was going to be like 25 degrees out.... ouch.....

^^^ The HIGH for tomorrow is only going to be 32 degrees with snow, so I when the game starts at 7:30pm it'll be less than 25. I'm betting that the game will be postponed until Monday. I wish they'd move Sunday's game up to the afternoon from 8pm Denver time. That sucks for Phillies fans to have to start watching a game at 10pm on a Sunday night. How many east coasters end up going to work late the day after a west coast game?

That's part of the fun of October baseball, the crisp fall air! I love it. I'm looking forward to watching.

Crisp, now that's an understatement.

Way to go Angels. They were my main team until I moved to the Bay Area. Plus, my Dad works VIP parking lot detail as his retirement job.

No, no don't get me wrong Lackey was great. Good offspeed stuff, and his command was good minus that little hiccup in the 6th...

Hopefully Beckett gets on his game tonight...

East coasters don't need sleep. :p

Crisp? Fall?

How about frozen and January like? Crisp is like 40s at came time, not 20, with a wind chill of 10.

That's what I'd like to see as well, but like you said, the odds don't favor that happening.

Ended up paying $380 for two $30 tickets, but we have tickets for Sunday's Twins game. Sucks that the brokers always seem to get through to the ticket office before regular folks do- I hate being gouged like that.

Well if you paid the homeless a bottle of mad dog each to be first in line, you too could corner the market.

It does suck. Enjoy the game, hopefully there will be more.
