I can’t find it right now, but I remember during one of those press junket interviews with the cast after the premiere that Bella Shepard was asked if there was going to be a Genesis-centered episode in season one and she just straight up said there wasn’t, but that there would be one in season two. So I don’t think this is what this will be.

By the way, do we have any guesses what exactly the ”All Worlds” holiday could be all about? Is it a Federation-wide thing or just Starfleet Academy?

Judging from the trailer, this seems to be the episode where this shot is from. I’m really looking forward to these two spending some time alone on the otherwise empty Athena …

Probably just a generic holiday that was put together to consolidate a bunch of different Federation member species holidays so they wouldn't have the "every day is a holiday for one of our species" problems.

This episode is reminding me too much of Enterprise's "Home", which is a much better episode. There's even a Wedding plot, much like that episode. I am liking Genesis's story, though I thought there would be more of it.
