Starfleet Academy Official Trailer

They are going to try and show a different kind of Klingon than the cliche Klingons we know. Which is a good idea but the problem is the writing will likely not be good so he will just come off as a different kind of cliche and that is young liberal cliche. Bad writing is where even good ideas go to die.
But enough about Voyager.

Also, when will we see traditional humans? I'm sick of these liberal cliches and want the working man and blue collar representation.

Tongue firmly in cheek to be clear. No doubt someone will take it seriously.

They will never set Discovery aside as its own alternate timeline. As for the Burn... it took more than 50 years for Star Trek to inch its way from the 23rd century to the 25th. No Star Trek producer or writer will spend a single sleepless night worried about how something that happens in the 31st century will affect their 25th (or 26th or 27th) century series.
Mike McMahan did to the point he stealth retconned certain parts of Discovery as a Lower Decks finale.

“Masculine energy”? Now why the fuck should the show have that?

Viewers who are plagued by “fragile masculinity” should better stay far away from this show. It has women in it! And women in positions of authority at that. Scary shit. And I suspect it will be super gay as well. That one Klingon sits with his legs crossed and wears a skirt! These types of viewers shouldn’t watch too much of this, or their dicks might just fall off or something. But who am I kidding? I’m sure these kind of viewers will make sure to let us know exactly how much they are not watching the show.
All art has some expression on the masculine/feminine spectrum. It's not about gender. (Although there's obviously a correlation)

"Masculine engery"? What the fuck does that mean? Not enough explosions and dick waving?

Masculine energy is a set of qualities associated with logic, action and purpose, such as assertiveness, decisiveness, strength, and independence. It is considered a part of all people, not specific to one gender, and is often described as the outward-facing aspect of human nature. This energy is driven by reason, focus, and goal-oriented behaviour, and is associated with providing structure and order.

Duty and honor are often themes you see in very masculine works. That's probably why it's so befitting of Star Trek or any quasi militaristic show.

He denied this in social media though that this was his intention. Furthermore, since that episode shifted between timeframes as well as realities, it could be read as an acknowledgement of when Klingons looked that way.
I was talking about the permanent dimensional portal that rendered half the plot of Discovery Seasons 3 and 4 meaningless.

Though that's not what he said, he didn't deny it, he just said he can't directly admit it for another ten years.

I'm pretty sure that with low dilithium there was no easy way to get to that portal in Disco Season 3. As for seasons 4 and 5, why would they need this portal again?

I dont want a Dawson Creek Klingon with the feels every scene and crying. We got enough of that stuff in DSC.
Then don't watch the show.

We'll see. From what bits I've seen its gling to be all emotional "We'll do this together" nonsense we've heard non stop since std.
So just like every Trek series since the 60s?

Haha. No. McMahan has said that he was trolling a certain segment of the audience with that. Besides, what the people that so desperately want to dismiss DSC as an alternate reality can't seem to explain is why showing the DSC Klingons means that DSC must be in an alternate reality when we also saw the proto-Klingons seen in TNG's Genesis. If the Disco Klingons being in LD means that DSC is in an alternate reality from LD, then it must follow that the people who believe this must also believe that TNG is in an alternate reality from LD as well.

In Discovery Season 3 the Discovery needed a way to send Georgio either back to her own universe or back in time. Georgio wanted to go back but was told that was impossible.

In Discovery Season 4 the whole B plot was about random scientist guy trying to travel dimensions to find the "perfect" alternate universe with the only way that he could do so being by stealing the power of the DMA.

Oh good points
