I’d imagine any soundtrack releases have been placed on the back burner until the dust settles from the Skydance merger. It’s been a while since we got the Lower Decks soundtrack volume release, as well.

I wonder if the profit margins weren’t panning out with licensing?

I don’t think the merger had anything to do with the soundtracks as the Section 31’s soundtrack came out fairly quickly. Maybe the SNW soundtracks didn’t sell enough. maybe the season being delayed so long has effected the release of one. Maybe the musical soundtrack is all we are getting for season 2?

You’d think they’d at least do digital releases if physicals didn’t sell as well, as they did for all Prodigy music Melumad has scored for example, but apparently not. It’s all bit strange and unfortunate.

I have been known to change which leg I cross when sitting in my comfy "command chair" at home.

Picard changed which hand he gave his "Engage" gesture with between seasons. In the first season, it was always with the left hand. By the third season, he had switched to always doing it with his right hand. I need to give TNG Season Two a rewatch to see which hand he habitually used there, but I'm not really in the mood to tackle TNG these days.
