Is Jod the first person we've seen in canon that is a Force user, but is decidedly NOT a Jedi or Dark Side user? (I don't really count broom boy since was still young the only time we've seen him, and could possibly become a Jedi later on.) I mean, he's a pirate first, and just uses the Force as a tool. Seems like there should be a lot more people in that category, especially since the purge.
Just used a droid brain and Dooku training to become a lightsaber blender.Wasn't that the case with General Grievous? Though I suppose he was someone who might have just been good using light sabers in fights.
Most of the shows have been in the same regions, dealing with the same groups, so it makes sense that they'd run into characters in those groups.Zero desire to see Jod outside of the context of this show.
I can't stand all the dumbass connections that Filoni and Favreau keep springing. It's hacky in the extreme. Let each show be its own thing.
I had assumed he had a connection to the Force, but it wasn't strong enough for him to actually be a Jedi. There's consensus that Chirrut was a Force user? That surprises me. I thought it was so obviously what @Ithekro said!![]()
Very true. Also most of Star Wars Canonical Timeline content focuses on a very short span of time in the larger Galactic History. Most of the shows have been in the same regions, dealing with the same groups, so it makes sense that they'd run into characters in those groups.
If you're doing a story set after the Return of the Jedi and you're dealing with Jedi you kind of have to have Luke show up at some point, and if you're dealing with the Mandalorians it makes sense we'd see B-Katan, ect.
Ahsoka and Bo Katan were some of my favorite parts of Mandalorian.I'm starting to think I'm the only person who actually likes when shows and movies crossover. I really enjoyed Luke's appearances on The Mandalorian, and Leia was one of my favorite parts of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
This was always my take, too. Not strong enough to be identified by the Jedi (he was certainly old enough to have been) but slightly more sensitive than the average being, possibly enhanced by his inability to see.I had assumed he had a connection to the Force, but it wasn't strong enough for him to actually be a Jedi.

Luke only appeared on The Mandalorian once. His other appearance was in TBOBF.I'm starting to think I'm the only person who actually likes when shows and movies crossover. I really enjoyed Luke's appearances on The Mandalorian
Which was good.Luke only appeared on The Mandalorian once.
Which was atrocious. His other appearance was in TBOBF.
Anakin completed her training in Shadow Warrior.I think Ahsoka is technically not a Jedi. She's a light side user, though.
Is Anakin a Jedi anymore? Is Ahsoka a Jedi now, then? What's the official position?Anakin completed her training in Shadow Warrior.
She was kicked out of the order. She literally says, "I am no Jedi." So she ain't.Anakin completed her training in Shadow Warrior.
